Alex Txikon’s new adventure is, without a doubt, the most extreme challenge of his career, even one of the greatest current challenges in the world of mountaineering, if not the greatest of all, and consists of ascending the roof of the world in the middle of winter and in the purest way, without the use of artificial oxygen. Temperatures of -60 ÂșC, 150 km/h hurricane winds that can literally sweep the mountain and a summit that is touching the stratosphere are the fundamental ingredients to justify that no one has yet achieved it in pure winter.
